Airgreen is a family-owned helicopter company founded in 1986 in Robassomero, a town in Italy’s Turin province. Our name reflects the values we were built on and the ideals we stand for.
Over the years, we’ve grown into one of Italy’s top providers of helicopter services. Clients turn to us for rescue missions, cargo and passenger transport, aircraft maintenance, and aviation training.
We began with hydroseeding and supply runs to mountain huts and high-altitude seasonal grazing facilities in the Alps. Today, we also serve the Oil & Gas sector and carry out helicopter rescue operations across Italy and abroad.
Since day one, Airgreen has relied on the dedication of its team. Our pilots bring deep expertise. Our technicians and support staff ensure precision and reliability. With trusted equipment and skilled personnel, we deliver a full range of aerial services, always with speed and safety. Airgreen is unrivaled in the industry. We operate a fleet of 19 helicopters and manage nine bases across Italy.
We also support Civil Protection agencies during emergencies. Our crews provide helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) in Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, and assist with wildfire suppression and disaster relief in Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta, and Sardinia.
As the years passed, Airgreen became increasingly specialized in high-altitude helicopter operations. It then expanded its service range to include firefighting, seismic surveying, and oil exploration. Finally, our entry into helicopter rescue marked a turning point for the company and for over two decades now, we’ve delivered critical medical transport with consistency and care.
After more than 30 years of operations, Airgreen has reached a pivotal moment. Steady growth has transformed us from a small local business into a leading company in our field. This evolution demands ever more commitment, competence, professionalism and passion from our team.
