Helicopter Flight School

Pilot Training

Airgreen not only trains its own flight crews and ensures ongoing license compliance and renewal, but also offers third-party instruction as a certified Approved Training Organization (ATO).

With in-house Type Rating Instructors and Examiners (TRI–TRE) as well as Synthetic Flight Instructors and Examiners (SFI–SFE), Airgreen is authorized to deliver TRI certification courses on aircraft including the AW139; B/AB412; R22; SA 315; EC135; AS350B3, and A109.

Leveraging its SFI/SFE credentials, Airgreen provides tailored simulator-based training using the AgustaWestland AW139 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) at the Training Academy. This immersive experience significantly boosts pilot readiness, equipping crews to confidently handle complex scenarios and in-flight emergencies.

In addition to serving as a certified TEA (Test of English Aviation) Center, Airgreen provides both theoretical and practical training for the Helicopter Private Pilot License (I-PPL-H) and Mountain Flight certification, in compliance with Italian and European aviation standards.

HEMS training courses for medical and paramedical personnel are regularly held at Airgreen’s Cafasse (Turin) base. These programs cover essential topics such as aircraft approach procedures and airborne rescue operations, combining theory with hands-on instruction.

Airgreen also offers periodic safety training for flight crews, including “Emergency and Safety Equipment Training” and BLSD (Basic Life Support with early Defibrillation), the latter designed for all operational personnel.
